Overview

This page explains how billing works, where to find invoices, and how proration appears. Nylon bills monthly by card via Stripe. When you first sign up, you’re charged for the plan and seats you select. Changes you make during the month are not charged immediately; they’re prorated and appear on your next monthly invoice.

Where to find invoices

Who can do what

  • Owners: Full billing visibility; download invoices.

  • Admins: Can purchase and assign plan seats.

  • Users: No billing access.

Billing cadence & proration

  • Monthly billing only. No annual plan is shown by default.

  • Immediate first charge for your initial plan and seats at signup.

  • Mid‑cycle changes (e.g., adding users or upgrading the plan of a user) are prorated and appear on the next invoice, not charged immediately.

Payments & taxes

  • Payment method: Credit/debit card (processed by Stripe).

  • GST: Prices shown exclude GST; GST is added on invoices where applicable.

  • Australia: If you provide an ABN, you are able to claim back the GST portion of your subscription payments.

What an invoice looks like

Invoices include plan and seat line items (+ any credit top-ups), quantities, unit prices, any proration adjustments, and GST.
