Using Law Cyborg on Your Phone

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Law Cyborg is a web app, which means there is nothing to download or install — it runs directly in your mobile browser. For the fastest access, you can save Law Cyborg to your phone's home screen. It will look and behave just like a native app, with its own icon and a full-screen experience.

This article explains how to do that on both iPhone (iOS) and Android.

iPhone and iPad (iOS / Safari)

Before you start: Make sure you are using Safari. The "Add to Home Screen" option is not available in Chrome or other browsers on iOS.

  1. Open Safari and go to app.lawcyborg.com.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Tap the Share button — the square icon with an arrow pointing up — at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.

  5. You can edit the name if you like (e.g. "Law Cyborg"), then tap Add in the top-right corner.

Law Cyborg will now appear as an icon on your home screen. Tap it to open the app in a full-screen view, without the browser address bar.

Tip: You will still need to log in the first time you open it from your home screen. After that, your session will stay active as normal.

Android (Chrome)

Before you start: These steps apply to Google Chrome, which is the default browser on most Android devices. Steps may vary slightly on Samsung Internet or other browsers.

  1. Open Chrome and go to app.lawcyborg.com.

  2. Log in to your account.

  3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the browser.

  4. Tap Add to Home screen.

  5. Confirm the name and tap Add. On some devices, you may need to tap Add a second time in the pop-up prompt, or drag the icon to your home screen.

Law Cyborg will appear as an icon on your home screen and open in a full-screen view, just like a native app.

Tip: Some Android devices may show a banner at the bottom of the browser automatically prompting you to "Add to Home screen" — you can tap that instead of using the menu.

Tips for using Law Cyborg on mobile

  • All features available on desktop — including chat history, document upload, and citations — work on mobile.

  • For the best experience, use your phone in portrait mode when reading answers, and landscape mode when typing longer queries.

  • If you are prompted to log in again after some time, this is normal — simply enter your credentials to continue.
